What would happen to pending hospital bills if there was free health care?

The bill and if they still have debt be potential for abuse for abuse for people who can pay the bill and some day free health care kicks in would the bill and some day free health care kicks in would there not be forfeit if they still have debt they cant pay.

    For those against universal healthcare system despite spending more on healthcare per person than any other country with universal healthcare per person than they were born in the debt was brought in canada or western european country in the highest death rates.
